The HTC One could have a couple of follow-up handsets released based on recent rumors which have just surfaced. The company is seeing great success with the latest release, the HTC One. Thanks to its metal shell and dual speakers mounted on the face, it is making quite a run with great sales numbers.

The rumors which have surfaced are calling the newest handset from HTC, the Desire 200. It features a 3.5 inch display, 1 GHz processor, a 5MP camera and 4GB of storage. It seems HTC is making an attempt at a middle priced version to pick up any interest from consumers who cannot afford a One. In an odd move, the Desire 200 could contain the Android Ice Cream Sandwich version. This raises eyebrows due to the popularity of the Jelly Bean version which is still standard in most phones.

The second handset potentially being released is known as the Desire 600. With a higher level of features, it sports a 1.2 GHz processor and a 4 inch screen. The processor is also possibly quad-core. More in line with the majority of the smartphones on the market, the 600 is rumored to be running on the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean as opposed to the Ice Cream Sandwich version of the 200.

So far, there is no confirmation regarding either one of the handsets for now. If these two handsets do become available, HTC will be offering a stronger lineup to catch the interest of a greater range of consumers.
HTC, along with other makers are offering smartphones with features not even considered possible a few years ago. Keeping that thought in mind, the future looks more than bright for the consumer who needs a smartphone with many capabilities.

Protecting these investments is paramount. Upon purchasing any of these quality handsets, make sure and cover them with reliable gadget insurance. It is the most effective protection one can buy.–
