So with Apple’s event taking place and a whole bunch of new updates and tech being presented, the iPad Pro was arguably the most talked about device that was unveiled.
So what is the iPad Pro?
Simpy put Its a super-charged and super-sized iPad.
Its mammoth 12.9 inch retina display (which has attracted the attention of the Meme Army, see below) now means you will have the screen size of a full iPad Air 2 and still have ample room for multi-tasking. Editing that new track and need to Facetime? Its not a problem!

What are the new features of the iPad Pro?
The iPad Pro boasts nearly double the performance of the iPad Air 2, multi touch technology AND it has multiple speaker points providing an all round crisper listening experience. Its not just a larger iPad, there are clearly some significant improvements and moves forward. Apple CEO Tim Cook said “I think that some people will never buy a computer, because I think now we’re at the point where the iPad does what some people want to do with their PCs”

It can’t all be good surely?
Unfortunately we haven’t been blessed in meeting an iPad Pro just yet so can’t reliably tell you that this is the best tablet ever. Straight off the bat we have to raise the point of portability, does the size of the device restrict the transportation? The price point also is a bit of an issue, in the US the price is $799 so we can expect the UK price to be a bit higher than the dollar equivalent.
The iPad Pro Add Ons
The iPad Pro does have a range of compatible accessories available for purchase including a portable keyboard and the Apple Pencil. These accessories would most certainly push the price of the complete package up near the $1000 mark.
Released for sale in November, this amazing looking piece of tech certainly looks like the real deal. It gets a huge (almost as big as the 12.9 inch screen) thumbs up from us here at Gadget Cover.
